From signed design contract on May 2017, with supports from shipyard, owner, RINA and DJ marine, two 10,200DWT general cargo vessels (M. V. “CAPE VERGA PEARL I & II”) have delivery successfully on June 2018. 

These two vessels are cooperation between Concordia-Damen and DJ MARINE, build for SMT in Europe, for ore carrier in Africa.

The design point and particular of these vessels are mainly as follows:

1)       Container propulsion on aft end;

2)       Only one cargo hold;

3)       No ballast tank for whole vessel;

4)       Since 20nm coastal navigation, in order to low cost, Ruler and equipment exemption.
