Based on successful series 1,000m3, 1,500m3 and 2,600m3 split hopper barges, as per Owner and market requirements, DJ marine developed and designed 1,800me split hopper barge after that.

The vessel, as a unmanned non-propelled Spilt Hopper Barge classed by BV within Unrestricted Navigation，is to be adapt to cooperate Bucket Dredger, Grab Dredger and so on to load and unload mud, sands and rubbles.
